I worried this place would be all hype, but the sandwiches were amazing. The bread was springy, not soggy and had it had a nice crisp to it. The flavours on offer were very unique and the coffee was great. Friendly staff and speedy service

What an incredible sandwich house. Big. Punchy. Flavourful. Beautiful. Everything works together and the bread is toasted to perfection. Bacon & Egg is highly recommended by myself. Staff is friendly, cafe has a lovely, homely cosy vibe.

The beef brisket with dipping gravy was hand on heart the best sandwich I've ever had. I also had some of my partners egg and bacon sandwich and the egg was oozing and cooked to perfection. We were greeted so warmly by the owner and staff. Get there early to guarantee a table, 10/10 will be back again!

Got a takeaway while I was visiting. I LOVE Between Bread !!!!!🥖 I’m sad it’s not in London :( My friend and I got the Cold cuts - IT WAS SO GOOD 🙂↕️ Their homemade focaccia is GORGEOUS. My other friend got the Birria Beef - I think this is his go to - it comes with gravy as well !!!! Fire stuff. Atmosphere is l lovely and chill. Staff are kind and friendly. A must go in Exeter 📍

The vibe is super relaxed and the girl who served me complimented me and was very kind :) I want to try the pina colada matcha next cuz that sounded delicious! The only thing I’d say is that because it’s an open area, if you stay for more than 30 mins you may leave smelling a bit like an oven. Nothing I’m too fussed about but just something to note. Overall I definitely recommend. Window seat is super cozy btw x- Service

Such a cute little place. Amazing fresh sandwiches and great customer service, answered my questions about the ingredients and a warm goodbye on exit. Would definitely recommend, make sure you’re hungry, amazing portions!

There was a line when we arrived and rightfully so. I got the chicken parm for £8.50 which was yummy and tasty. The bread was a bit too buttery and oily for my liking and it could have had more chicken however on the whole it was very enjoyable.
Service was quick and attentive and whilst it was full there’s always enough seating for everyone. Will be back for sure and would recommend everyone try!- Service

If you’re in Exeter and need some lunch, there is nowhere else I’d rather go than Between Bread. Always a great selection of focaccias and toasties which are packed full of great filling options. The morning buns are also well worth a try. Never fails to disappoint, but make sure you don’t leave it late or you will miss out. Chicken Caesar focaccia and the onion bhaji focaccia have been my two favourites so far but there’s many more great options!

Busy sandwich shop in the centre of Exeter. Would recommend to anyone visiting to go early as they sell out of all the good stuff usually before 1. Amazing selection of sandwiches which change on a regular basis. Something for everyone!

I’ve been to 6 countries and this is probably the best sandwich I’ve had in my life. It so simple but the flavours and texture of the whole thing teleports my mind away. It tasted good even cold but warm is beautiful. The restaurant is busy most of the time so if you need space or like to be alone you can always ask for take out 😂

Popped in for lunch after hearing they've got the best sandwiches in Exeter - I agree! Had a chicken parm, their best seller and it was delicious. The bread maketh the sandwich and their focaccia is fresh. You can have it cold but I opted for it to be warmed up. Will try the burrata one next time.

The best sandwich in my life, one of the reason why i don't wanna leave Exeter 😭😂 stomach is happily pregnant with all these gluteeeennnn 😋 they serve nice milk, not commercial ones. I don't usually order drinks outside but i will from here.
